The staff of R.E.A.C.H. Mobile Health Services (MHS) works closely with community groups in all locations where it conducts business as one of the area's stakeholders and in an effort to be good neighbors.

Through regular participation with these community groups, R.E.A.C.H. MHS has been able to network and problem solve with representatives from the police department, the city council, the Citizens Planning and Housing Association, businesses, other social service agencies, and residents. The tone of meetings is one of fact-finding, problem identification, and development of solutions. These forums open communications between stakeholder groups in a harmonious setting that can expedite communications and accomplishments.

One way the program maintains positive relations in the community is its high priority to providing a clean and safe environment for the staff, patients, and area residents. Attention is focused on patient flow and the elimination of congregation or loitering by R.E.A.C.H. MHS patients in any of the communities where treatment services are provided, often at added expense to the program.

R.E.A.C.H. MHS currently provides services within three separate communities of Baltimore City. Patients are medicated at Barclay and 23rd Streets in Baltimore City on the parking lot of the St. Paul Free Will Baptist Church. R.E.A.C.H. MHS has a long established relationship with the church in a joint mission to serve the residents of the Barclay community and its surrounding area. The administrative offices and medical and counseling services are provided at the core facility at 2104 Maryland Avenue which borders two other communities in Baltimore City.

Program staff attends meetings of all the associations and both staff and patients participate in community-sponsored events. R.E.A.C.H. MHS gives priority attention to referrals from the communities where it conducts business.
