Clinical staff includes a clinical director and nine (9) addiction counselors providing psychosocial and case management services to a population of four hundred (400) patients. Four of the more experienced counselors function in a lead role. The lead counselors work with more complicated cases necessitating smaller caseloads, leaving the remaining five (5) counselors with caseloads of forty-eight to one (48:1). Clinical staff is comprised of trained addiction counselors, including master's level therapists. The clinical staff is divided into teams under the day-to-day administrative oversight and mentoring of a team leader. The clinical director provides supervision for all the addiction counselors.
Medical services are provided on-site by the R.E.A.C.H. MHS medical director and staff physician. The dispensing of medications and other substance abuse related medical services are provided by a team of nurses, a physician's assistant, and a nursing assistant.
The
administrative staff provides support for the clinical and medical activities of the program through clerical and triage functions.
